WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL EXERCISE

   Yoga is not just a system of movement and posture. It is a way of life. It is an 8 step system which teaches us how to use our body first. The person who can use his body learns to use his breath. The person who can use his breath learns to manage his emotions. And the person who can control his emotions can experience his own reality.

   In order for our body to move, it needs muscles. Muscles have the ability to move as well as maintaining the stability of our body, which is very important. The muscles that provide stability are not our large and superficial muscles, but our deep muscles. To strengthen these muscles, isometric muscle movements are needed. We need isometric exercises more during the aging process. Because, problems of falling due to balance problems occur in people in the aging process. Yoga has a movement system that can run both large and superficial and deep muscles. That's why it's a way of working for people of all ages.
